About the Project

I developed Sealify to demonstrate how large language models can assist with legal document drafting, focusing specifically on Non-Disclosure Agreements under South African law. The application takes a comprehensive NDA template and customises it based on user inputs, leveraging OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model to generate legally sound documents. What makes Sealify unique is its two-stage verification process - an initial document generation followed by a secondary legal review that ensures compliance with South African contract law, including POPIA, PAIA, and relevant intellectual property statutes. The final output is a professionally formatted PDF document ready for signing.
